Experts say that the surgical mask has to be removed after using it once. According to them, masks made of cotton cloth or terylene cloth are more effective for the common man. However, doctors and health workers should use N95 mask. If you want, you can also use a mask made of cotton or terylene fabric. However, after using such a mask, it is important to wash it every day.
How to clean the mask-
1. Do not touch the mask directly. After returning home, open the mask with the ribbon attached to it.
2. You can wash the mask by soaking it in soapy or detergent mixed water.
3. After washing the mask, dip it in antiseptic lotion and hang it on a roof rack or porch rope. It is better to dry it in the hot sun. Because the chances of the virus surviving in the sun are less.
4. You can boil the mask in hot water. The mask will be disinfected.
5. When drying, make sure that the main part of the mask does not get dusty.
6. Once the mask is ironed after drying, it will be usable again.
7. Wearing a wet mask without drying well is not okay. This increases the risk of infection.
